A ballpark figure before anyone visits
Choose the type of job, its size, the finish and the kind of property. You'll get the sort of range Adam talks people through on a first visit, and you can send it straight to him.
An indicative range for budgeting, not a quote. Adam's free site visit firms it up; a detailed itemised quote follows, its fee refunded in full if you go ahead. Every price carries an openly discussed contingency.

How the money side works
If your question isn't here, ring Adam directly; you'll get the same straight answer on the phone.
How do you price a job?
Every price is given as an estimate rather than a fixed figure, because material costs move and older properties hide surprises. A contingency is built in and explained up front. Your initial estimate is free; producing a full, itemised quote carries a fee, which is refunded in full if you go ahead with the work.
How and when do I pay?
Payment is arranged to suit the size and length of the job and agreed before work starts. On longer projects that usually means staged invoices, for example bi-weekly with seven days to pay. Bank transfer is preferred, and card payment is also accepted.
